Pile 2: Hi there pile 2! Haha for you I got a very elusive slippery energy from your future spouse. I feel as though in their younger years they were really hot. They were a know it all. They were charming, devious and funny. And they still are! They’ve certainly still got it going. I do feel as though when you meet them you might pick up on those traits from their past and stay away—but this person has identified that they want a deeper commitment here with you. They have grown a lot and instead of chasing cat and mouse, they are confident in attracting the right person. They don’t want games anymore, I’m hearing they don’t have time for it. Pile 3: Okay right away pile 3 Electric by Alina Baraz began to play! Lol hope your day has been well. I feel as though this person is intense, stern and firm at first. I heard CEO. What kind of wattpad love story is this? Lmfao im hooked. Anyway, this person could have a higher position in your job and I do feel how you meet is they help you out. They may offer you a position, or talk to you, and somehow it slips out that you’re struggling. Im seeing two people meet for coffee in the lounge room and hitting it off, and its unexpected. I feel you two may expect a purely professional relationship but no—this is something deeper. There’s this feeling of intimacy and closeness with you two, like you two saw each other a long time ago and now you’re meeting again. Very familiar and comforting. Feels like 4h synastry! I love that. I do feel as though your future spouse is a provider and doesn’t mind if you want to take the reigns in bed too ;) they are skilled I should mention. When a star basketball player and a stripper meet under true intentions and a lie 

A/n: my first series!

The club lights gleam down on her dark hair as she moves across the stage, swaying her hips to the sensual music playing in the background. Her bra will hopefully soon be stuffed with 100 dollar bills. The club is in a decent part of town, usually the rich ones come here for their show. Tonight has been slow so far in terms of actual payers not just lookers. Riley feels the first real sack of cash thrown at her heel.

Her eyebrows softly crease when she realizes it’s 1k and she softly smiles. She looks in front of her to see who had thrown it. To her surprise it’s a young blonde woman, not the typical older man she comes across here. The woman makes eye contact with her for a moment and it stops Riley in her tracks. She’s got the face of a sculpted goddess, with her long blonde hair and angular features.

Riley tosses her a wink and continues her movements across the floor with the cash now stuffed in her purple bralette. About an hour passes and a few 50 dollar stacks are obtained but not much else. Her shift is almost over but she made 1k, that’s more than enough to pay for a good meal tonight and her bills in a few days.

11 pm swings around fast and soon Riley’s moving off the stage and into the dressing rooms. “Hey baby” Kelsey says. Kelsey is a couple years older than Riley and shes much more experienced with the whole stripping idea. She taught Riley how to make the most money fall at her feet and it’s definitely made her more comfortable around the club and the other girls. Riley responds with a “hey girl!” I mean this isn’t the greatest job but she’s made it home for now.

“How much ya get?” The redhead smirks. “1,200” Kelsey’s jaw falls open in shock. “Ry how hard were they, damn” it takes Riley a second to realize what she means and she slaps her shoulder. “What the hell kels” she rolls her eyes. “just saying!”

“It was actually a young woman that gave me the 1k” Riley says with a proud smile. “Really?? That’s rare” Kelsey’s face looks questionably at her. “Yeah, she was stunning and blonde, one of the most beautiful women I’ve ever seen” Riley says as the mirror light shines on her smooth brown skin. “That could’ve been your soulmate bae” Kels says bursting out into a laugh. “Definitely not she was way too rich to actually fuck wit a stripper”

“Well damn you’re probably right, ima head out for the night I’ll see you Friday, take care of yourself for me ok?” The woman’s red curls swing side to side as she reaches the door handle. “Good night see you soon” Riley responds back with a sigh. Now it’s time for her to head out. She pulled her coat over her shoulders and reapplied her peachy lip gloss. Her undereye bags show as she looks at herself in the full body mirror, she’s drained.

When she passes the bar area she notices something, more like someone, the same woman who she definitely wouldn’t forget. She seems to be arguing with the bartender. She stops in her tracks and suddenly they make eye contact. Riley feels the woman’s piercing blue eyes stare directly into her deep brown ones. It makes her shudder.

The blonde tells the bartender to hold on a second and starts to walk towards her. “Hey” her voice is deep and smooth. “Hey?” Riley replies, raising an eyebrow. “You’re the one I gave that stack to right?” She says so confidently it makes her brain twist. “Y-yeah” and for the first time in so long she’s stuttering. “You were and are absolutely stunning, you know that?” The woman says and it sends a shiver down her spine.

“Look I don’t do that kind of work if that’s what you’re going to ask for” Riley doesn’t need that tonight. “No- never! I wasn’t meaning to sound creepy, I just wanted to actually talk to you” the way she says it sounds genuine and she can feel it. “Well..sure” I mean what’s the worst that could happen Riley doesn’t have much of a life anyways. “I’m Alex” the woman tells her and they both subtly smile at each other. “I’m Riley”

“If you want I can buy you a drink, it’s on me” Riley agrees to a wine although most would call it boring Alex called it a good choice. They start a gentle conversation and the words naturally come out her lips which isn’t normal for Riley. She’s always been a little bit shy or awkward. In high school she stayed to herself because people were jerks and when she was in college classes she was too busy to enjoy the campus life. Now she’s got Kelsey and that’s all.

“So you in school?” Paige says and Riley shakes her head while she takes a sip of the wine. “Nope, dropped out freshman” the curly head’s face shines under the club lights delicately, looking beautiful as ever. Paige feels terrible and she knows it’s wrong but she can’t mess up the both of them with her reputation. Riley’s brown eyes look into Paige’s ever so often and it makes her heart glow. ‘Paige stop it’ the blonde says to herself.

“Hm what were you going for?” She asks, tasting her tequila shot. “Psychology” Riley answers, hoping not to be judged. Telling people that usually results in a rude comment about how she’s thrown her intelligence away for such a low job. “Oo that’s so cool! I love women with book and street smarts” Paige smirks making Riley’s body flush. She’s not used to embarrassing herself like this. I guess it’s easier to talk to men when you’re not attracted to them like women.

“Oh be quiet, it didn’t get me very far clearly” she sighs, motioning to the room surrounding them. “I mean hey at least you’re working” she shrugs to let Riley know she doesn’t mind. “It might not be the most glamorous job but you’re getting yo cash that’s good” Riley laughs and nods her head. She’s honestly mesmerized; she’s never seen a woman quite like this. She’s amazing with her words and her attitude on top of the looks.

The both of them are unaware of the subtle pass of time and suddenly it’s 1 am. “Oh shit I get home” Paige tells Riley when she realizes that Kk is gonna be on her ass about staying that late at a strip club. I mean what was she supposed to do? Kk invited her girlfriend over for the night. Trust and believe Paige didn’t want to be in the dorm during that.

“I better get going too, can I have your number?” Paige’s eyes light up at the ask. “Yeah of course!” They exchange numbers and say their goodbyes. “Goodnight Alex” Riley says, oblivious. “Goodnight” the player says back. On Paige’s drive home she felt the guilt start to eat at her. Really though, is a girl like Riley going to stick around? Probably not, it wouldn’t be that big of a deal anyway.

However on Riley’s drive home she can’t stop imagining what ‘Alex’ must actually feel. Who wants to have a genuine conversation with a stripper? Not many so Alex must have felt something. Riley rubs her temples as she pulls into her apartment parking spot. She can already hear her neighbors in an aggressive argument.

Her apartment is a madhouse because of her neighbors and the walls are thin so that definitely doesn’t help the issue. “I won’t be getting much sleep..” Riley tells herself as she sits her bag down on her bedside. She wipes her makeup off in her bathroom and just looks at her reflection for a moment. She needs a break from this mess but she can’t afford one at least for now.

Astrological Fame indicators per Hellenistic astrology ⭐️🎬

Now before we even get into this let’s make some things very clear; fame can mean a range of things, it can mean going viral, it can mean being a best selling author, it can mean being on tv, on the news or even being a model and singer, the representative of a public and very successful company, and some people get famous for all the wrong reasons like hitler or Donald trump, theres nuance to these things so let’s get into it ‼️

1. Chart ruler in the 5th house. This is the first thing that came to my mind instantly which I think is a pretty desirable kind of fame that every normal person kinda soughts after. this configuration is like getting famous for being pretty or having a nice style, being talented, being an inventor, a discover of something or even being a content creator especially since this house literally has significations with creation. The 5th house in Hellenistic is the closest thing to fame and riches because rich people live a very good quality of life. This house will increase the quality of a persons life and any planet here especially the chart ruler or the ruler of the LOF may indicate that. The chart ruler here is generally gonna indicate that a person will be very celebrated by people at some point in their life. I feel like i have to keep repeating to people that this house literally has a relationship with VENUS and Venus kinda just gets whatever she wants

2. A luminary or sect of light within an angular house. The luminaries are the sun and the moon, they both illuminate light and are generally the first things that draw our attention in the sky. The sun sends light to our planet and the moon reflects that light to use when the sun sets and when there’s light upon you, you become easier to see within the landscape that you are in. Generally speaking tho, the luminaries on the angles (houses 1st, 4th, 7th, 10th) are gonna describe someone that is popular and who’s name gets around easily. This is one of those things that can mean a range of things like I mentioned above; being in the news, being a city’s official, a representative for a state, your business being featured in a magazine or more exciting things

3. North node in the 5th house. Now I’ve talked about the north node maybe once or twice and each time I did I explained how the north kinda massively increases things wherever it’s at in your chart for better or for worse depending on the house it’s in and this isn’t necessarily something that you have control over either. The north node here can generally describe all the things I mentioned about the 5th house above being massively increased for you when that karma gets activated at some point in your life.

4. North node conjunct the sun. Now I don’t need to do much elaborating about this if you read anything in #2 or #3. The north node increases things massively and some Hellenistic significations of the sun are as followed; being king, being in charge, being recognized for achievement, being the boss, having all the attention on you etc

5. Your 10th house being the 11th place from the lot of fortune. Calculate your LOT of fortune and what house its in, use your lot of fortune as the ascendant and count 11 houses from there, if the house you land on after counting 11 is your 10th house when you count using your original ascendant, that implies some level of fame. The 11th house from the lot of fortune is where a person will find honor and achievement

6. Lof of fortune in the 10th house. The lot of fortune for lack of better words can describe the cards a person is dealt in life and those cards can be good or bad ones. Generally speaking is gonna describe fated encounters in your career

Just a disclaimer that not everyone will get famous for their desired reasons or even famous at all, not everyone’s dreams or goals get realized or see fruition, and not everyone gets successful or popular. If you become popular though it won’t be because you are begging for it, so don’t beg for it if you have either of these placements. You should be recognized for your own abilities without having to strive for popularity, so instead focus on honing your abilities and stop caring about the outcome, chasing people’s attention isn’t sustainable. 🌹 KIBBE types || Why Hyunjin is a 𝒮𝑜𝒻𝓉 Dramatic

 ↪︎ INTRO :: Welcome to another lengthy Kibbe Body Type analysis. Today, I’ll discuss Stray Kids’ Hyunjin, who is certainly among the most beautiful men of our times 🌹

Across the web he’s been typed as a [Soft] Dramatic, Dramatic Classic, and Flamboyant Natural respectively — I make my case for SD here in bite-sized illustrated points. Enjoy!

why he’s in the dramatic family

Needless to say, Hyunjin is likely part of the Big Three (D, SD, FN) or a Dramatic Classic due to his notable vertical line. Like all of these yang types, his model physicality is hard to overlook.

At 5′11, he’s already tall and close to the 6´0 threshold on paper, but he appears even taller mostly. People surely wouldn’t describe him as petite or barely medium in height. I heard through the grapevine that 5′11+ is Kibbe’s cutoff for male yin types who have short vertical lines:

Especially as in South Korea, the male average height is estimated to lie between 5´7 and 5´8½. That would be their Classic type benchmark. Lee Know is commonly typed as Soft Classic at 5′8. I agree with the typing: He looks great in sophisticated, clean, standard black tie with waist emphasis and suave fabrics (yin). All C category looks suit him, less is more.

Hyunjin appears taller and bolder congruently, seemingly taking up twice as much space as most Soft Gamines like Felix (SG is Kibbe’s most petite type next to the Romantics, they are the Big Three’s opposite). His physical frame is easily noticed first.

His extremities are fairly narrow, though. At his height, only one Image ID category looks like that, in fact: D types, the longest legs of the Kibbe system. Slim and streamlined, Hyunjin embodies sharp yang.

And he fits their reputation: Like all Dramatics, he does visually intimidate. His appeal can be described as intense, towering, and in your face (D), not as bluntly rounded, wide, sporty (N) or subtle and detached (C). Changbin being from the Natural family, the difference is quite stark. Changbin is frame dominant, Hyunjin is vertical first.

There’s an edge, he’s square and tall, not bevelled, not all-round symmetrical, not tiny, nor softly round. Hyunjin isn’t fully mesomorph nor endomorph either, but slenderly column-like with longer bones (D), which tends to reflect in his dance/stage presence. Very angular.

SKZ’ concert outfits can be quite theatrical in a Kibbe and aesthetic sense, it suits him well. Kibbe calls the Dramatic element theatric because literal drama/theater in the arts relies on tall actors with exaggerated makeup & features that can still be seen in the last row. D types are easily spotted from a mile away. 

Let’s do the reverse: Zooming in, typing by detail. Tell-tale sign of a D type: Hyunjin’s hands/fingers are long and slim. FN’s hands are broad and less dainty/slim, if not huge sometimes. Classics are “regular”. His extremeties are not, we see bone structure first.

Calves, hips, underarms, too. All very yang. Not short, not soft, not balanced, not sturdy, not contrasted, just elongated and slimmed. I can hear people say it’s FN’s dramatic undercurrent, but it’s not an addition, it’s his main thing.

Test it with outfits: Kibbe is about matching similar things to create harmony, which creates beauty. Hyunjin’s most famous looks are all angular like he is. They mirror his frame. His artistic alter ego is as fittingly dramatic-themed as it gets. Sharp asymmetric corners everywhere:

Now that we established his Dramatic base, let’s see how his yin undercurrent shows. Outfit test again, because it’s fun: Especially opulent and dark-colored SD lines overwhelm all Classics and Naturals. But Hyunjin, never. Just another Thursday for him, he can do it all. 

And either way, his lush, super-prominent facial features are the waving flag for SD. They pair so well with glisteningly adorned yin styling. The hair could be more contrasted (= yang) here, but you get the gist.

He even has a semblance of double curve, which is elongated in SDs. FN has a broad ribcage > hourglass, Pure D has a straight, streamlined body. DC has no curve. But SD looks great with the waist marked. Only then does the outfit become “Hyunjin-esque” lmao! And it puts the focus on his face.

Hyunjin is far more yin-oriented than D, DC, FN. He wears Romantic and otherwise gnc clothing so well. You could douse him in jewels. SD is the only type among the Big 3 that can pull off TR decor. Modern Hanboks are often yin-themed (SC, TR, SD...). He’s born to wear it.

SD borrows its yin from R, yes. But as I see it, the infamous “homme/femme fatale” Theatrical Romantic type is SD’s younger sister. Simply due to TR’s sharp yang Dramatic influence. Hyunjin is easily a `sexy TR with more vertical´, and tall homme fatale is exactly what he exudes. An SD face says “femme but I’ll eat you up”.

That doesn’t mean that if you made TRs like Jimin or Han more elongated, they’d look like Hyunjin. Ofc not. Besides no person ever fully resembling another, Han is yin first (rounded face, small waist), and Hyunjin is yang first (chiseled body, long limbs). SD is gigantic next to TR.

However: Added to how Korean men tend to be on the smaller side already, and SD still points toward R and is the least towering of the Big Three most of the time, Hyunjin is still less gigantic than Pure D and FN — even if he looks tall by himself or next to G types like I.N, Felix, etc. Next to FN Dua Lipa in heels below, next to D types in the second pic.

For SD, Kibbe says overdressing is virtually impossible, as long as their narrow vertical line is honored. Unlike Classics, Hyunjin is certainly the “more is more” type. Minimalism wouldn’t do him justice. All-out dark luxury and ornamentation is peak SD aesthetic.

As above, and like in Han’s or Taemin’s case (both are TR), all of his outfits are elevated by belts. A purely yang type couldn’t wear this convincingly or comfortably. But with his small waist, belts are needed to keep the outfit together. Again, he can’t overdo it.

Finally, his feet are long and yang, but the toes appear yin and rounded, softly padded. The gentle, fleshy undercurrent of SD shows here, just like in his face. I’m a Pure Dramatic, my toes are thin and elongated, and my face is taut. SD has less structured feet, even if they can be bony. That’s why Natural category boots look so heavy on him, DC shoes appear regular, but elongated boots that emphasise vertical suit his outfits. He rarely wears SD shoes, but as always, the more glam, the better.

why he fits the versace SD aesthetic

It’s no coincidence he became a Versace ambassador. Donatella — despite being a tiny Flamboyant Gamine at 5´2 — herself dresses like a Soft Dramatic often, and loves supermodels embodying the shiny Diva Chic, it’s the brand’s entire theme. 

Just like D & G and Mugler celebrate TR, Chanel and Gucci revere Gamines, Armani worships yang types (D, DC), and Dior suits Soft Classic, Versace lionizes SD, Italy’s Kibbe archetype. Bold patterns, sharp shoulders, black, waist, long lines. 

Versace and Hyunjin’s best signature style are based on the severe long, black vertical look, angular and stark. Head to toe! The velvet fabric ad glossy boots are also quite SD.

By constrast, Versace doesn’t base itself on the flowing mix´n´match, wide lines and cozy fabrics of Naturals. That would be, say, Urban Outfitters or FILA. The BTS campaigns show of how casual FN/N is. No coincidence how RM and JK are positioned center, they are SN and FN. Brands will always clock which types instinctively fit the aesthetic.

Like all designers searching for a muse, I think Donatella looks for models that symbolize what her own contrasted/angular FG type doesn’t feature: Extreme vertical, a consistent essence (as opposed to Gamine’s mix of D and R lines), and yin. Thus, Versace’s muse is SD. Hyunjin perfectly fits the role. He is tall and radiates decadent splendour. 

why he’s not flamboyant natural

Some FN clothing suits him, yes, as SD and FN are neighboring types. You can always steal from your closest Image IDs and pull it off to a certain degree. It accommodates his vertical, after all. But again, he can go even more fashion forward, and isn’t known for his leisure looks like, say Namjoon (FN) or Jungkook (SN). FN clothing looks casual on all other types. FN clothing on an FN looks like a million bucks. 

Some FNs have soft yin features, but on SD, they stand out. Hyunjin’s go-to makeup look is not understated like Kibbe would recommend for the N family. Full lips, strong brows, sharp chin, sharp smokey eyes, contoured nose. His face shape is slightly more elongated than wide to begin with, the eyes aren’t wide-set like it’s often the case for Ns. His signature style is long hair, wether straight or wavy: but pulled back (D), not big and wild and free (FN).

The FN (and DC) outfits he wears the best are all black, head to toe. Which is a D characteristic! The drape of the fabric is similar to SD, but the materials are still reading as casual and wide on him. FN clothes look huge on all other Kibbe categories and hide the body, but on all Naturals they look stylish and showcase their frame dominance. FN is oversized on Hyunjin, especially the upper body. SD might have a T-silhouette, but not the FN ribcage. Casual clothes are snug on actual FNs.

Vice versa, Hyunjin makes the most artificial-looking, least casual aesthetic seem entirely taken for granted on him. His silhouette asks for emphasis in the middle of the body than just the shoulders (yes, SD does need shoulder emphasis!). The FN style leaves his legs looking too slim by comparison, as the top part winds up being too baggy. 

That couldn’t happen to a Natural like Chan who fills out skinny pants easily. He needs the heavy fabrics, chest, arm, and shoulder accommodation like air.  Stage looks are heavily manicured; he becomes a different person — Chan looks good, but he’s most at home in cozier looks, and most known for it, too. It balances his body.

Test jeans (N) versus satin (R): Which is more well-dressed? SD is about how far you can go, N is about how relaxed you can go. I think jeans is good, but underwhelms here and there. Plain satin lacks structure on him, too, which is why R is only his undercurrent. It requires the angular tailoring of D to incorporate yin fabrics in his wardrobe. But you could still throw more jewelry on him! Gala/dinner/red carpet dressing is so easy for SD. The right-hand outfits are fantastic. The colors pack a punch, too. SD needs heavy duty [winter] hues, regardless of their personal color.

So, in stage outfits, he wears sharp shoulders well. FN has larger, protruding, rounded shoulters that do not carry pointed Dramatic corners well. No sharpness here, just massive soft yang muscles, eg. Namjoon and Shownu. Worlds apart from Hyunjin. SD is the fiercest slayer ever, FN is a complete machine.

Any impression that he has Kibbe width is caused by the T-Shape most SDs have, an illusion created by their small waist making the shoulders look prominent by comparison. 

Stiff fabrics that hold their shape (=D) are key to his best outfits, not coarse/woven FN fabrics or DC tweeds. fN are the kings and queens of athleisure. SD is underdressed in FN. It needs lavish draping and bnw contrast (=D element mixed with yin). He looks great in it:

SD is a naturally androgynous type. It fuses a tall model body with a soft yin face. Think Austin Butler, Shawn Mendes, Lil Nas X, BTS’ Jin. But FN is as masc as it gets. Think Henry Cavill, Jason Momoa, Hugh Jackman, RM, Minho (SHINee), Chanyeol. FN can be humongously broad when trained! SD bulks up, but their narrow, delicate vertical still shows first. And Hyunjin is shredded to the gods, mind you. 

His legs showcase thin D bone structure. Congruently, he wears pointed toe shoes better than rough and ready FN ones (sharp, black shiny boots, his signature). Even if they have a sharp yang undercurrent, FNs still have more substantial N bones by comparison. When FN works out, their frame becomes even more biased towards the upper arms, shoulders and thighs, where SD becomes leaner first, and just more defined overall. Hyunjin’s legs aren’t blunt, they are extra long (sharp yang) with softly wide flesh (yin undercurrent) on top. FN is bulkier, stronger-looking like RM. And Hyunjin is a main dancer!

In short, trained FN idols are basically closest to bodybuilding contest winners because they look so broad and vigorous, while SD idols could win a pageant because they’re so beautiful, not rugged and hypermasculine like FN. Hyunjin is muscular, but you don’t notice broadness first, but his gorgeousness and model height.

FN benefits from earth tones + softening the hair color, while all Dramatics are recommended to go darker, more uniform in shade. Contrast works miracles for Hyunjin, black hair or completely bleached white is his forte. Muted colors undersell him. FNs will pass as a natural muted blonde or light brunette, while the D black and white color scheme don’t flatter them as much. Hyunjin definitely needs the extreme.

why he’s not pure dramatic

Pure Dramatic fits his proportions, it looks great on him (proof that D is his family) but the certain something is missing. It conceals his body rather than adapting to his shape. SD is never boring, always memorable (!), the longer you look the better it gets (minus the whitewashing on the right). SD is the right “challenge”.

The fact that Hyunjin can handle so much glamour whereas Pure Dramatic best sticks to the all-black column look without the glitter and diamonds makes him secondary yin. SD can lean into (Theatrical) Romantic, but on a tall scale. The jewels, the glitter, the soft fabrics, you can put all of this on him. The big florals, too!

Pure D is enjoyable in how contrasted and proportional it us, but it seems more boring than his stylists playing it up and adding more of a genderless element without making it classical drag art; it’s his specialty. His roster of SD hairstyles is endless and we all love it. The wavy ponytail below shoulder length (SD can go even longer anyway). 

Pure D lines also don’t lend enough definition to his face. Wearing one’s Kibbe type HTT (head to toe) naturally makes the face pop, as its surroundings are harmonious. He will be too gaunt in too-straight hair and too-stiff fabrics, the SD volume is missing. E.g. Sehun and Wonwoo (Pure Dramatics) wear this better.

why he’s not dramatic classic

His insane proportions and remarkable face also disqualify him as any Classic. C styling looks good on everyone as it is the midpoint of the Kibbe spectrum and thus accommodates all types. He can pull the plain white dress shirt off, but only with sufficient accessorizing (SD). C drowns in SD, but C jackets are like crop tops on SD (red carpet image below).

In general, his body is not balanced — small waist, very narrow legs, prominent facial features, etc — enough to be described as average. Nothing strikes you about Classics, they are subtle and perfect. It’d be harder to draw Lee Know from memory than Hyunjin. All Dramatics stand out. Classics blend in, staying understated, visually embodying the “handsome, cold yet elegant gentleman”.

how he compares to any other types

Kibbe is about comparing Image Identity: Hyunjin could never be the sporty guy next door like SN Chan; he could never be the SG brand of “short and sweet” (think Sabrina Carpenter, SG) like Felix. Hyunjin has the tall contrasted look of sharp yang types. SD is the dark and sensual god king, SG is the lovely elven prince (yet both have yin lips).

Hyunjin’s ability to ace high-effort styles is only restricted by his lack of Gamine essence, which is K-Pop’s main mode. G types have few rules except breaking the line, SD requires rule-abiding. The floor length, the belts, the longer hair, the intense colors. 

G lines turn to kitsch on SD, it is too “youthful“ for him to maximize the potential of SD. Eclectic Gamine lines are too short. G looks ‘cutesy/fun’ on all other types except on Gamines, who look stylish and cool in them, like FG J-Hope. Everything is ugly unless Hyunjin wears it as they say, but G is too hit and miss (and not “Hyunjin-esque” 😄).

Finally, Romantic is too delicate for him. It needs more oomph and “overstyling”. R is not risky enough for Hyunjin! Yes, he is secondary yin. He looks dainty in it. But it works better with yin guys like Felix, Jimin, Woozi, Wooyoung, Suho, Xiumin, you name it. R clothing looks corny on all other types, but on TR/R/SG it looks flaming hot. Pair Romantic’s velvets and pastels and crystals and transparent fabrics and sparkles and ruffles with Dramatic edges and it works for Hyunjin:

Since Kibbe has these type-specific names that set a certain tone or theme: I think luxurious “Divo/Deus Chic” (SD) fits Hyunjin best. As in `godly´ man, since Deus was the male operatic lead, historically, and Diva the goddess. Kibbe has no men’s equivalent of “Diva Chic” so I figured `Deus´ was quite fitting, as Hyunjin does look like one would imagine a seductive deity. 

I see why many type him as Pure D and FN, and he can’t go wrong with DC either if the vertical line is kept, either. He can embody those three essences through acting, styling, working out. But the above-and-beyond ornate SD image sums him up well and dresses him to his fullest. 

He’s close but not quite the masculinely austere Pure D, Kibbe’s “Regal Sir” (D), who tends to be the most mature-looking, dry/stern type, far from Hyunjin’s genderbending visual that effortlessly breaks every boundary of what is considered menswear. He stands out from the common “Spitfire” Gamine idol aesthetic, too (small, lean, youthful, `doll-like´ face — think Taeyong, Jennie, or Yoongi), which makes him so recognizable.

He’s modelesque, moreso than the leisurely, Herculean yet relaxed boho “Free Spirit” (FN), or the understated yet sophisticated “First Gentleman” (DC) who stands at a more medium height and excels in spartan clothing. Most SD men are chronically underdressed, Hyunjin became famous because he barely ever is (props to the stylists!). I love this ID on him, and it has many options, just a feast for the eye. 

I thought about Taemin successfully carving out a niche for himself as a sensual Theatrical Romantic, heavily breaking with mainstream masculinity. Or Lisa (her type is debated, but we can all agree she’s yang-leaning) being known for her tomboy look pre-fame and later blowing up astronomically for her concepts that have no time for the submissive Asian girl trope. They both defied the expected norm, aka FN or FG male idol, SG female idol. In a similar manner, SKZ having so many yin subtypes is probably what made them so appreciated for their lavish GNC styles — and the big stage/a music video is really where you can wear all of this to the max. 

If you think about it, they have yin types in all of the 5 main Kibbe categories! TR Han, SG Felix, SC Lino, SN Chan + Changbin, SD Hyunjin, like how? Perfectly distributed, talk about range! No wonder they can do any concept. Hyunjin and Felix being the most known for genderless fashion is likely due to SD being physically impossible to miss and SG standing out as they are so petite (think Woozi from Seventeen, best example). Kibbe is onto something when he made sharp yang and soft yin the end points of the spectrum.

For the stylists, it must be hard to find a balance between dressing the Naturals VS the several Romantic-leaning members, and everyone in between. They do a tremendous job though most of the time imo, it’s refreshing to see SKZ’s fashion style having courage and forward-thinking instead of catering to a conservative worldview: Not to mention the many contemporary, low quality menswear design landscapes which are nothing short of underwhelming. SKZ create a visual spectacle, that’s one of the many reasons why they stay relevant to the public. I don’t think a group mostly consisting of say Classics could execute their theatrical stage displays convincingly. Example: Wolfgang worked because Chan is Soft Natural. Felix’ runway debut worked because the outfit was Soft Gamine. Hyunjin became a sex symbol as soon as he grew his hair long (a Dramatic characteristic, yin `feminine´ hairstyles are actually short in Kibbe’s system! Think TR Hwasa’s iconic wavy bob).

So, maybe one crucial ingredient, besides other factors, to a successful group is having members from all Kibbe 5 main IDs? To give each a recognizable/particular wardrobe, showcase height differences, be able to stay flexible with concepts, and further emphasize the concept of group roles? If we’re talking male groups in general, EXO has all Kibbegories except a strong R department, but therefore more yin subtypes. The literal exact same goes for ATEEZ and TXT. BTS has at least one Romantic (Jimin), Gamine (Yoongi), Classic (V), Natural (Jungkook), and D type (Jin) featured. That effect is even more pronounced in Seventeen (they almost have all the 13 types, it’s insane) and of course, within NCT we find it all, I mean the numerical chances of them having each Kibbe type present are high anyway lmao!

And of course, SHINee is THE most balanced group: Minho FN, Key SD, Onew SN, Jonghyun DC, Taemin TR! Yes — I am aware Key and Jonghyun are typed as Flamboyant Gamines frequently. Those aren’t bad typings at all, especially since SHINee often did and successfully does a FG concept. But as I see it, Key wears and exudes the Divo aesthetic like no other, and Jonghyun is easily associated with crisp and elegant suits. So even if they aren’t SD and DC, FGs can be type chameleons, as we saw with G-Dragon who’s portrayed every Kibbegory in the book. Long story short and pun intended, let’s crack the code: SHINee being Kibbe allrounders could also be a reason why they are timeless.

The veracity behind racist stereotyping à la „they all look the same“ unsurprisingly proves to be nonexistent, even despite the industry’s persisting Gamine bias for both girl and boy groups. Which, worryingly, shifts toward promoting the too-muscular Natural body for male idols lately. We can anticipate more N types being cast into debut groups to reinforce that ideal. It does seem to create a new „be this type or go home“ beauty standard that is often divorced from the variety fans want to see. Say, nobody campaigns to have Felix look like Terminator Arnold 2.0 😅 He’s grown so perfectly into his Soft Gamine/Light Spring Season style and looks stunning. No need for a gargantuan bicep or pecs out of proportion, or 15 layers of insoles.

So, I wouldn’t want to pump up everyone into a quasi-Flamboyant Natural (the current Hollywood steroid disaster is telling) or slim everyone down to a faux Dramatic or FG (see Ozempic) when we have nothing short of 13 human archetypes, with 12 different seasonal color types on top anyway. You cannot change your ID to begin with, ever — you’d need surgery for each cell of your body. Even today’s possible amount of cosmetic procedures couldn’t change your yin-yang balance completely. You still look best in your original lines. Plus, height and bone shape are hard and painful to alter from head to toe. I prefer Kibbe’s prennial `dressing your own, already beautiful type´ approach, which still applies if someone had lots of surgery, too. Kibbe types are permanent after one’s early 20s.

That’s why I still think the „5-category-SHINee-effect“ does contribute to longevity and artistic merit. Exactly to last through extreme trends (because what’s after N muscles? Maybe skinny like D again, or balanced like C? It cycles on). Styling a group, it’ll never be a hit or miss game if you have all 5 archetypes present. Imagine SKZ doing an edgy/smokey eye concept, the yang members (e.g. Seungmin) will make waves. Or if they do lace and pearls, the yin types will look especially great.

No matter what theme a comeback has, it’ll strike a chord for at least one person. Everyone can have their turn, there’s no forgotten member. [Male] groups consisting of kindred Kibbe types (e.g. only Romantics, which would 100% set them apart) sadly rarely break through. They’d have to stick to one signature style, which probably wouldn’t survive in the capital-driven/high-speed K-Pop trend and fashion cycle, which asks for novelty. I’d love to see groups like that though, like an all Dramatic model squad. There’s still variety within one Kibbe ID’s styling options. The 2nd triplicity ruler is about the 2nd part of life. The 3rd one is only supposed to support so they call it "cooperating ruler".

You can check the condition of each triplicity ruler to determine the happiness and wealth of the individual. Is the trip. ruler angular or succedent?

If so then it's a good indicator. Is it a benefic or malefic?

You can determine the exact timing of when the 1st triplicity ruler hands over to the 2nd using the minor years of the planets based on their synodic cycle.

It shows them like this. This is from Shakira's chart. Let's use her as an example. Aquarius sun in 11h as the sect light - air triplicity in day charts is Saturn, mercury, Jupiter.

Saturn period is 30 years so at 29 years old a shift occurred for her. It was when she released one of her greatest hits in English, Hips Don't Lie featuring Wyclef Jean. Her Saturn is succedent in the 5th house of creativity. YES it's in adversity and retrograde but in its own bound.

Her 2nd triplicity ruler of the sect light is mercury in Capricorn. It is angular ! The ascentional time of Capricorn in her latitude (10°59'North) is almost 31°. So when she was 30 years old, that angular Mercury took over. During that time she was on her Oral Fixation tour, in which she visited 6 continents, and performed for the 1st time at the Grammy Awards. She was awarded "The Best Pop Collaboration with Vocals" for her hit Hips Don't Lie.

Models Who Are Not Naturals (Kibbe)

We know that the modelling industry is dominated by FNs/Flamboyant Naturals since clothes are made for a rectangular frame and not customized to the curves and contours of a specific body. Models who are frame dominant are preferred because they can advertise the clothes as they are instead of having it tailored to fit them.But all of that aside, I thought it'll be interesting to find models who do not have a typical FN build.

Keep in mind that almost all the women mentioned below are over 5'7 and with Kibbe's height restrictions in mind, at that height, only a few IDs are possible (SD, D, FN). Since this is a post about models who aren't FN, this list will largely feature Ds & SDs.

For context, this is a typical FN build. Cindy Crawford is a verified FN. She has broad shoulders, a square torso and an overall athletic build. FNs are likely to have an inverted triangle like frame.

Back at it again folks! Alas, Poor Emmrich has been destroying me in every conceivable way. I had most of it finished basically once I posted chapter 11 and then I had a fuck ass idea and spiraled from there so it’s taking a while for me to hodgepodge this motherfucker into something coherent.

The only good taste in Emmrich’s mouth was what lingered of the wine from dinner. The rest made the base of his neck feel tense. Iron and the filmy essence of lipstick. Like blood being swished through the gaps in his teeth. Dry, dyed hair ran against the knuckles hovering close to her jawline, scratching him.

He had seen the new growth of grey hair at the root during dinner. But the dye she used was too harsh on the threads, making him worried to run a hand through it on the off chance it broke from brittleness. Rather jarring considering the lack of defined lines in her features while being a similar age to him. Though the hair seemed to be the only frail thing about her, everything else was razored and angular.

The attack on his lips stung, taking in the unfamiliar scent of a home he’d never been inside before. Something woody hidden beneath multiple layers of cleaning solution, extremely clinical. This seemed like a good idea a few days ago… Perhaps he should have walked out the moment he’d seen the color of her dress. The bright red fabric gathered between his fingers, hand clinging to her hip. It practically glowed against her pale skin, and it did look nice on her just… Also made him feel oddly threatened.

Aside from her lips and teeth, he felt no real reciprocation from her. At least none of the intimacy he usually anticipated with these sorts of first encounters. No hands cresting over his shoulders, rising up his chest, or tugging at his belt. She stood at the vanity, long, thin fingers curled around the edge of the wood. And despite him being the one leaned into her, with a thumb gently smoothing over a still clothed stomach, it was distinctly her kissing him. But he couldn’t help himself, even if he was meant to be doing this to take his mind off of Rook. It made the event at least tolerable. He didn’t want to be there. And despite the fact that he was currently pushing this woman onto the nearest flat surface of her bedroom, he had no real desire to be here either.

Maker, why was he even doing this? The phone in his pocket buzzed quietly, and a pleased hum escaped his throat. She had positively diabolical timing. It was so late at night too. Perhaps she’s working, it was a Saturday after all. The hand at the dress shifted, curving up into the underside of a bare thigh.

The memory of Rook was there again, searing hot like a brand against his impulses. He wondered why she always wore nylons or fishnets when her legs were more exposed. Wondered if all of them had cutouts like the ones she wore to the Memorial Gardens. It would make sense if they did, given her job, but part of him hoped not. First, because the idea of always having that much access would raise his blood pressure. He cut his side-burns off to make him look more masculine, but let them grow long during SFRY, so he would look different from how he looked during WWII, despite keeping the same, now watered down values he had to repress because of the country's politics (wa, wa, poor baby);

8. Loves plump, male bodies, but he makes fun of Vuk's. It goes as following:

He sees Vuk eating sweets and insults his weight; Vuk decides to diet so he won't be made of anymore; the next day Dražen takes him out to eat or cooks him unhealthy food, making him stay the same weight, or even gain some;

and repeats itself. This happens for a few reasons: Dražen finds Vuk's body attractive and doesn't want it to change, he loves teasing him, and he thinks that women would be all over him if he was fitter which he doesn't want;

9. He mostly eats savoury foods, but he gets cakes from time to time. Loves drinking coffee (has atleast 2 cups of espresso everyday) and red wine. Sometimes he skips a meal and sometimes he eats to the point of sickness. It varies, but he usually stays the same weight, when his weight does vary, it's usually 5 kilos more, or less.

10. His closet is filled with dark clothes. Most of them are some level of formal, but he also owns "house clothes" which he only wears inside and they are slightly dirty or ripped. Owns one or two pairs of trousers, the rest are denim jeans or shorts and pants. Has either black or white socks, having longer ones for winter and very short ones for summer. Uses armpit pads so he doesn't sweat during hot weather. Loves leather and wears it all the time;

11. Knows how to write using the glagolitic (both round and angular) and latin script. Never bothered to learn cyrillic, he doesn't know how to write text in the cyrillic script and he can only recognize a few letters in texts written in it. It's not necessary for him to know it, since Croatia isn't known for using cyrillic, but he needed it in Yugoslavia. Back then he understood it enough to read simple text written in the script, but still couldn't write in the script;

12. Has almost flat speech, but not as much as Enis. He only shows emotion in his voice when yelling and you can't tell his emotions based on his speech, except for anger. His voice almost shakes when he raises his voice which has been responded to with both pitiness and fear. Of course, he speaks with a central Croatian accent and dialect, with the Dalmatian dialect being almost foreign to him (poor knowledge of words used by Dalmatians). He speaks Croatian and English as a second language. Understands a bit of Italian and German and some Hungarian words (all because of past interactions with the people);

13. Writes frequently, but his works are only appealing at first glance. He prefers writing short stories or small 'essays' for his blog, while he writes poems once in a blue moon. Doesn't struggle with grammar or spelling, writing something that makes sense and has an interesting story behind is his only challenge that he can't seem to beat. He needs to get atleast a little bit sentimental to whip out a verse or two, otherwise, he doesn't consider it. The publishers have started refusing to publish his work because no one really reads his articles in newspapers. He thinks his writing is refined and unique;

14. Can only cook minimum effort and traditional dishes, and that's it. He doesn't try to learn to cook any dishes besides the ones he already knows because "they're too hard". Has cooked for the other yugotans in the past and they've enjoyed it, despite his meals not being anything special. Has only baked small buns and bread a couple of times before because he buys bread in the bakery. Goes out once a week (with exceptions), and mostly orders chicken or pasta at restaurants;

15. Used to have a fiat 500 (from what I can tell based on the photos) until it was destroyed. From then on he used public transport until he got money for a new car, which lasted for a year or two. He bought a Škoda Octavia which has shown itself to be pretty decent. He doesn't usually drive that much, unless he's going on vacation, but uses his car when he wants to go to a mall that's hard to get to by foot. Prefers walking to the store or the café, despite getting a bit 'woozy' when he walks for a longer period, due to his habits and build. Might edit later. If I think of anything I should add. Have this for now.

A tattered black charcoal tabby with angular features, a missing ear, and a half missing and kinked tail.

They say that once you choose your path, it is uncommon for one to change in such a deep manner as to choose a new calling. Not impossible, though, as is the case of Lichensting. A gnarled and sharp cat with a chip on their shoulder, Lichensting is akin to a hornets nest: best not poked or shaken. Their demeanor isn't exactly pleasant and their bedside manners are lacking, but they are not unkind.

Once a proud prowler of Thornrush Clan, Lichensting was the heart and soul of the hunters and fighters among their peers. Never to back down from a challenge, never one to look away from the face of adversity. Once upon a time, their personality matched this noble heart, but that was many moons ago. Now Lichensting is an Apothecary, after spending three years honing their healing craft to become one of the best.

As a Prowler, a tragic event (left up to the adopter) spearheaded their life into this new direction of healing. But this does not mean they have fully given up the Prowlers Path; they are still among the first to challenge others and unsheath their claws to stand their ground, making them known as something akin to a "warrior healer" or "warrior poet". They speak eloquently for their rugged stature and personality, and just as they are quick to unsheath their claws, they are just as quick to use a sharp tongue.

Will Lichensting ever be truly at peace with themself? Will their hardy attitude continue to find it's place among their peers within Thornrush, or will they get themself into a fight that they will have a difficult time getting out of?

Hello guys, welcome to a new video today we will show the short recap of the last live of Yeosang and Ana where they demonstrate their "great culinary skills" someone don't let them enter a kitchen again

The studio buzzed with a chaotic energy, a blend of excited whispers, the clinking of mixing bowls, and the insistent hum of the camera. Ana, with her signature brown hair pulled back in a messy bun and her green eyes sparkling with mischief, stood next to Yeosang, who was meticulously arranging a stack of pancakes shaped like a rainbow.

'Alright, Atiny! Welcome to our very first Pancake Challenge!' Ana announced, her voice bouncing off the studio walls. 'We're going to be making some pretty epic pancakes, so buckle up!'

Yeosang, gave a small nod, his dark hair casting a shadow over his face. 'We've got a few challenges lined up,' he said, 'and we're gonna try to make them look as good as they taste.'

'Are you ready, my pancake protégé?' Yeosang quipped, a playful glint in his eye.

Ana chuckled, 'I haven't had a culinary lesson since elementary school. This should be... interesting.'

The first challenge was, predictably, a rainbow pancake. Ana, with her flair for the dramatic, whipped up a batch of colorful batter in record time, while Yeosang, a picture of measured precision, carefully layered the batter to create a vibrant arc.

'Woo-hoo! Rainbow pancake, check!' Ana exclaimed, holding up the colorful creation with a flourish. 'A+ for effort, Yeosang!'

Next up was an ice cream pancake. This one proved to be a bit more challenging, as Yeosang struggled to find a way to replicate the smooth texture of ice cream. Ana, ever the resourceful one, had a brilliant idea.

'Whip cream!' she exclaimed, grabbing a can from the counter. 'We can make it look like whipped cream!'

With a few strategic swirls of whipped cream and a sprinkle of rainbow sprinkles, their ice cream pancake was complete.

Yeosang deftly shaped the batter into a scoop, adding chocolate chips to resemble sprinkles. Ana gazed at it in awe.

'It's so adorable!' she exclaimed. 'Two down, three to go!' Ana cheered

The next challenge was to make an Elmo pancake. Here, Yeosang took the lead, meticulously crafting the iconic red character with a careful hand. Ana, however, couldn't resist adding her own touch.

'He needs a little bit of sass,' she declared, grabbing a jar of chocolate chips and carefully arranging them to create a small, mischievous grin on Elmo's face.

'Ana, what are you doing?' Yeosang asked, his voice laced with amusement.

'He needs a personality,' Ana retorted, winking at the camera.

The challenge was quickly followed by a Scooby Doo pancake. This time, it was Ana's turn to shine. She whipped up a Scooby Doo-shaped pancake with surprising ease, adding chocolate chips for eyes and a playful swirl of whipped cream to create the iconic Scooby Doo bandana.

Their confidence soared until they reached their final challenge: each other.

'Don't worry, Shortcake,' Yeosang teased, referring to Ana's diminutive stature. 'I'll make you look like a goddess.'

Using the batter as his canvas, Yeosang began to outline Ana's features. However, his artistic skills seemed to falter when he attempted to recreate her flowing brown hair.

'Oops, I spilled some batter!' he exclaimed, smearing the brown mixture onto his nose.

Ana dissolved into laughter, wiping away Yeosang's impromptu moustache. 'You're a terrible artist!'

Undeterred, Ana took over the batter and molded it into Yeosang's angular face. She added a mischievous smile and a pair of twinkling eyes.

Their initial attempts were… less than flattering, to say the least. Ana's pancake looked more like a lumpy blob with a slightly crooked nose, while Yeosang's creation resembled a pancake-faced alien with questionable eyebrows.

The room erupted into laughter as both of them burst into giggles. Ana, in her attempt to add details, nearly tripped over a bowl of sprinkles, sending a cascade of colors flying through the air. Yeosang, trying to save the day, reached out to catch her, but in his haste, knocked over a bottle of blue frosting, which splattered across the table in a vibrant, sticky mess.

'Oh no!' Ana cried, her eyes wide with mock horror, 'We're a disaster!'

Yeosang, his face covered in a colorful mix of pancake batter and frosting, could only laugh. 'This is officially the messiest pancake challenge ever!'

The live chat exploded with messages, filled with emojis and exclamations of 'Chaos!' and 'This is amazing!'

Ana and Yeosang, covered in batter and sprinkles, looked at each other, their laughter echoing through the studio. Though their pancake portraits were a complete and utter mess, the sheer joy and camaraderie they shared was infectious.

'Atiny,' Ana announced, her voice breathless with laughter, 'we may not have made the best pancakes, but we definitely made the most memorable ones!

'Okay, Atiny,' Ana said, holding up the two pancakes, 'judge for yourselves!'

The camera zoomed in on each pancake, showcasing their unique interpretations of each other. Yeosang's version was a picture of restrained perfection, while Ana's was a chaotic, almost abstract representation of Yeosang's face.

The comments section exploded with laughter.

'I think Ana wins this one,' one comment read.

'Yeosang's pancake looks like he's trying to be a serious CEO, and Ana's looks like she's ready to party!' another commented.

Ana and Yeosang, despite their competitive spirit, couldn't help but laugh at the reactions.

'Well, Atiny,' Ana said, 'we may not have made the most realistic pancakes, but we definitely had a lot of fun!'

Yeosang, with a small smile playing on his lips, nodded in agreement.

'We'll try harder next time,' he said, his voice laced with playful sarcasm.

Biography

Magnolia Park, or Mags as she prefers to be called, is the 23-year-old daughter of Willow and Hunter Park. She lives in her own apartment in Bonesborough and attends the University of Wild Magic, enrolled in the Advanced Alchemical Healing study program. She also captains the school's Graduate-Level Grudgby team, playing alongside Astelyn Clawthorne and Monwide Veando.

Mags is an exceptionally arrogant and catty woman stuck in an endless rebellion phase. She very much sees herself as the cream of the crop, and refuses to acknowledge anyone else’s accomplishments but her own. She’s vain, shallow, and self-centered, with a main character syndrome that rivals that of Belos himself.

However, some of her self-hype is definitely deserved. Mags is both a skilled athlete and healer, and her level of expertise is entirely self-made. As nasty of a person as she is, she's no slouch. She's a quick and dedicated learner, as well as very explorative and inventive in her studies. Were she a bit less abrasive and caustic as a person, she'd likely be a favorite student amongst the instructors at the University.

Mags has devoted her life to separating herself from the Park family name, doing everything she can to make sure her renown is hers alone. She wants to stand on her own, outside and apart from her parent's shadows and everything she hates about them. Because of this, Mags is extremely competitive, willing to use any edge she can to get ahead of the competition outside of outright cheating, which she personally abhors. Unfortunately, she's a very sore loser, and has a tendency to lash out at whoever she lost against, friend or foe.

Mags looks very similar to Willow in both build and general features. She's shorter than average with a bulkier, plus-sized build that hides a significant amount of muscle. She shares Willow's skin tone and rounder, smaller facial features, having inherited her smaller nose and cheek dimples. She also has Willow's olive green eyes and navy-blue hair, though Mags' hair has a bit more general waviness and messiness to it inherited from Hunter. She generally prefers to keep her hair shoulder-length, usually braiding it or tying it back to keep it out of the way. She did inherit Hunter's thicker eyebrows, though, as well as a slightly more angular jawline.

Mags is very adept in her chosen fields. Her specialty is sports-related injuries and physical therapy, which she frequently employs on the Grudgby field. Nine times out of ten, she's a better medic than the courtside healer, something she's always eager to boast about, and she's generally hanging around the medic’s tent post-match to simultaneously heal and mock the injured players of either team. She also exercises her skills outside the field, and has made a decent amount of snails acting as a cheaper, though judgier, alternative to the University’s Healing Center.

Palisman: Nettle

Mags’ Palisman, Nettle, is modeled after a Harlequin Ladybird. He has a black carapace with 4 blue, star-shaped dots on each half of the shell. His wings, hidden underneath the shell, are a pale sky blue that fade into a deeper blue at the tips. His head is dark blue, and he has round, pure-blue eyes. His legs, undercarriage, and back (underneath the shell) are all black. In staff form, Nettle perches on top of a long double helix that merges at the bottom. His legs clutch the top, the ends fitting into six notches circling a small, round pedestal.

Every act in Mags' carving of Nettle was in some way rebellion against either her mom or her dad. She stole the log and tools used to carve him from the Park Family Home for Palisman, and chose to carve him in the image of a Ladybird just to make her mom uncomfortable.

Mags' motivations significantly imprinted on Nettle, giving him a similarly caustic and arrogant personality. He's every bit as competitive, self-centered, and mean as Mags is, and tends to be a bit of a bully around other Palisman. There are only a select few that he either respects (or fears, in one case) enough to leave alone.

Orchestre Tout Puissant Marcel Duchamp - Ventre unique

Orchestre Tout Puissant Marcel Duchamp’s latest album, “Ventre Unique”, is a dynamic exploration that seamlessly blends folk, krautrock, post-punk, and African rhythms, delivering an emotionally charged yet exuberant listening experience. Helmed by Geneva-based Vincent Bertholet, the orchestra’s ever-evolving lineup and distinctive sound pay homage to both African music traditions and avant-garde artist Marcel Duchamp, while pushing the boundaries of contemporary music. Recorded over ten days in the outskirts of Paris at Studio Midilive, the album features an eclectic international cast of 12 musicians. The result is a beautifully organic sound that balances Bertholet’s simple, loop-based compositions with intricate arrangements of marimba, horns, strings, and angular guitars. 1. Why do you like or dislike this character?

Professor Utonium is a sweetheart and I will love him forever because he is a shining example of a caring parent. He loves the girls, he’d do anything for them, he’s just a dad trying to get by in the crazy world he lives in. He’s also a huge dork, and quite tall, dark, and handsome with all of those sharp angular features of his. Seriously, who can’t like him?

8. What's something the fandom does when it comes to this character that you despise?

I think a lot of people truly love the Professor and generally treat him well in fandom, but I have beef with the casual/edgelord crowd who every so often circulate stuff like, “Oooooooh, why was a grown man trying to make little girls in a laboratory, hmmmmm?” with a wink and a nudge as if it’s hysterical to insinuate that Professor Utonium had ill intentions when he decided to create the girls. It’s not. It’s gross and tasteless. Like, whatever, people are gonna make the joke, it’s inevitable on the internet. I just see it so often that whenever it pops up it just exhausts me and makes me roll my eyes and cry for humanity.

Shocking spherules on Mars

Last week, the Perseverance Science Team were astonished by a strange rock comprised of hundreds of millimeter-sized spheres… and the team are now working hard to understand their origin.

It has now been two weeks since Perseverance arrived at Broom Point, situated at the lower slopes of the Witch Hazel Hill area, on the Jezero crater rim. Here, a series of light- and dark-toned bands were visible from orbit, and just last week the rover successfully abraded and sampled one of the light-toned beds. It was from this sampling workspace where Perseverance spied a very strange texture in a nearby rock.

The rock, named "St. Pauls Bay" by the team, appeared to be comprised of hundreds of millimeter-sized, dark gray spheres. Some of these occurred as more elongate, elliptical shapes, while others possessed angular edges, perhaps representing broken spherule fragments. Some spheres even possessed tiny pinholes! What quirk of geology could produce these strange shapes?

This isn't the first time strange spheres have been spotted on Mars. In 2004, the Mars Exploration Rover Opportunity spotted so-called, "Martian Blueberries" at Meridiani Planum, and since then, the Curiosity rover has observed spherules in the rocks of Yellowknife Bay at Gale crater. Just a few months ago, Perseverance itself also spied popcorn-like textures in sedimentary rocks exposed in the Jezero crater inlet channel, Neretva Vallis.

In each of these cases, the spherules were interpreted as concretions, features that were formed by interaction with groundwater circulating through pore spaces in the rock. Not all spherules form this way, however. They also form on Earth by rapid cooling of molten rock droplets formed in a volcanic eruption, for instance, or by the condensation of rock vaporized by a meteorite impact.

Each of these formation mechanisms would have vastly different implications for the evolution of these rocks, so the team is working hard to determine their context and origin. St. Pauls Bay, however, was float rock—a term used by geologists to describe something that is not in-place.

The team are now working to link the spherule-rich texture observed at St. Pauls Bay to the wider stratigraphy at Witch Hazel Hill, and initial observations have provided tantalizing indications that it could be linked to one of the dark-toned layers identified by the team from orbit. Placing these features in geologic context will be critical for understanding their origin, and determining their significance for the geological history of the Jezero crater rim and beyond!

The Scooby Doo Show S3 E10-16

10. The Creepy Creature of Vulture's Claw

Following the cancellation of the Where are You revival, the last seven episodes created for the season were pushed into Scooby’s All Stars, and subsequent reruns were treated the same. A lot of this final stretch is good, but coming to the realisation that they’re all fairly formulaic and I therefore don’t have loads to say, I figured I’d end the season, and the show, by working through the final episodes in a single review! 

We open out on a great episode, it opens with a thick atmosphere, foregrounded into the setting of Vulture’s Claw, an island in the shape of a claw, the gang head to aid Velma’s friend, a professor, as a giant mantis creature stalks the land. 

Mentioned in the previous episode, the animation can sometimes look incredibly fluid and beautiful in contrast to the trademark, often stiff, Hanna Barbera style of animation. This comes as a direct result of the company handing off certain segments of these episodes to the Japanese animation company Toei, they’ve worked on a huge array of popular shows and anime such as Dragon Ball, One Piece and Digimon. As such, certain sequences across this final set of episodes can be lavishly animated, characters squash and stretch, and there’s a lot more personality in their expressions, and honestly, I love how these are broken up by the regular animation style, because while, yes, the episodes can feel somewhat disjointed at times, it only goes to make the amazing animation stand out all the more. 

Applied to this episode in particular, there’s some beautiful shading that’s a joy to watch. 

Much like a lot of the back half of this season, the episodes feel fairly basic in terms of their plots, the writers evidently have the formula down to a tee, and that can sometimes work well, this episode is evidence to that fact! I love this episode, the location is great, the side characters feel like they have a growing presence in the episodes, the villain is great and there are a handful of fun character beats! 

Honing in on the villain for a moment, The Mantis is a lot of fun. Likely inspired by The Fly (1958), the Mantis’ origin comes from an experiment gone wrong - only a single error has caused a scientist to transform into this monster. Much like that movie, the design of the creature feels ripped straight from a 50s monster oriented horror movie, the creature’s body is built of two shades of green, its body has ripples that curl around his body like armour, his head is angular and his striking golden eyes and dashes of scarlet within the face of the Mantis craft a distinct and near perfect monster design. 

Not to mention another great feature about this villain is that he is in fact Velma’s friend, the professor that called the gang out, which I adore, it’s such a great twist. Of course, this reality doesn’t affect Velma at all, she works it out long before the rest of the gang, but this little detail is great in bulking out the identity of this episode. 

Alongside this, I love that we see Fred has crafted a book of traps that he makes Shaggy follow, it’s a really cute detail that’s funny, sure, but I enjoy how it fleshes him out as a leader. 

11. The Diabolical Disc Demon

I found this episode to be somewhat disappointing - we have an amazing opening depicting the Phantom chasing a musician around a studio, it’s animated beautifully, there’s some gorgeous shading, it’s truly a delight and bursting with atmosphere. From here, the gang head to the studio, and from here the episode kind of falls for me. 

I adore Satanic Panic and its ties to rock music, so often settings like this during the 70s are completely my thing, although this episode of course doesn’t delve into those themes, nor does it really use its setting to great effect. Rather, we spend the majority of this episode in the canteen at the studio, which feels like a poor use of this setting and the great set pieces that could be built as a result. There’s an incredibly long vending machine gag which grew fairly tiresome, although I love the detail of an entire roast chicken inside the machine. 

Despite this, the villain is both great conceptually and a lot of fun to watch. Phantom, as he’s fairly blandly known, is inspired by glam rock/metal musicians, with his wild clementine hair feeling evocative of David Bowie's Ziggy Stardust persona, meanwhile the makeup is more evidently inspired by KISS, a band that the series would later have a movie alongside, his face is slathered chalky white meanwhile his inky black makeup is wiry outlining his blank eyes. 

This one is completely fine, but disappointing to me specifically because I love both this setting and villain design. 

12. Scooby’s Chinese Fortune Kooky Caper

In this episode the gang head to China and encounter The Moon Monster, a creature whose shadow casts people to stone. 

This is a fun monster, that I believe is loosely based on Nian, a lion-like creature with a single horn protruding from its head, and it feeds on townspeople at the end of the lunar new year, given its ties to the moon  - this myth forms the basis of Chinese New Year, as the townsfolk used bright colours and loud noises to scare off the beast. 

However, I must emphasise that this is a very light connection, with this beast being a two horned, hulking beast coated in sky blue fur, it’s an almost yeti like design. Its ties to the moon lead to a handful of beautiful shots, and the process of characters turning to stone in the beast's shadow is incredibly cool in concept although hardly used in reality. 

That’s pretty much all for this one! The backgrounds are great and I found the joke of Shaggy only learning Chinese through the names of foods funny. 

13. A Menace in Venice

The gang head to Italy in this episode, only to meet the Ghostly Gondolier, who is attempting to steal an ancient necklace worn by none other than the gang's friend. 

I was incredibly excited to be able to talk Shakespeare with this episode, given the title’s allusion to The Merchant of Venice, however with the exception of a character called Antonio, that’s about it for the parallels.

Once again, the villain is great, the backgrounds are gorgeous! I had a fun time here but that’s not really because of anything unique the episode does, there are countless other Scooby episodes that do what this episode does far better, but this was a fun time!

The Ghostly Gondolier is the stand out - unlike typical gondoliers, this villain wears a hooded cloak, his outfit a blend of midnights and slightly softer shades of the nights sky, with this theme blending into his eyes which glow like the moon with a gentle yellow haze. His expressions are angular which fuels him with personality, only aided by him talking directly to the audience at times. Both the jagged face and shrouded design of the character connote to his place as a schemer, he’s bubbling with life and mischief in contrast to other groaning monsters. Oftentimes, he’s what makes this episode a joy to watch! 

Also there’s this weird scene with fish that’s really funny but also so jarring and I just needed to share it. 

14. Don’t Go Near the Fortress of Fear

For the most part, this season has truly nailed its cold opens. It’s one of the best aspects of Show as a whole, we learn so much from such a creepy short glimpse into the villain and their victim. 

In complete opposition to the majority of what I’ve stated previously, this episode has an incredibly bland villain, and yet I love it quite a bit. 

All of my love for this story comes down to the gangs interactions here, Shaggy completely steals the show, I adore that he meets the ghost and just lies to the gang about having met anyone in an attempt to coax them away from the castle, I love all his stupid little jokes, and I love watching the gang hang around and talk. It’s a great episode for all of these reasons. 

The Ghost of Juan Carlos is a pretty forgettable and kind of gross design at times, the muddy greens sometimes appear wholly brown and either way, neither works well with the powder blue accents to this design nor do they blend in cohesively with the grey helmet of the character, and he lacks much personality to boot. His helmet comes curiously too, given Spanish generals helmets didn’t look like his. It’s just a design that I find incredibly uninteresting, the clashing of colours says nothing in contrast to Creepy Cruise’s Futuristic Monster which serves such a grand purpose in its cacophony. 

15. The Warlock of Wimbledon 

From the first frame I knew we were in England hehe. 

In this episode we see the gang head over to England where they meet the famous tennis star Jimmy Pelton (hold the applause) who is cursed by Anthos, a warlock. 

I hate to say it, but Jimmy Pelton (Wimbledon star) is so stupid. Not once, but twice, his glasses are switched out, and this man does not notice either time! Velma is wearing his glasses to deceive him and he doesn’t bat an eye! Jimmy, fix up! Don’t get me wrong, I’m just as happy as the next Wimbledon fan is at Jimmy’s great victory over Ron Tyler, but I have to point out the facts that point to Jimmy being stupid. 

The big twist of this episode is that Jimmy’s glasses were swapped out to new ones that can see invisible makeup worn by a few members of the crowd that leads to an intense paranoia that nearly causes him to lose the match. It’s maybe one of my favourite stupid Scooby explanations for how a villain did their thing. 

Anthos is an incredibly interesting character to me, because I cannot for the life of me work out why he looks the way he does. He’s a warlock, and his staff is the biggest inidicator of this fact, it’s a great motif throughout the episode as it’s constantly returned to Jimmy (Pelton), acting as a physical manifestation of the curse. Yet everything else feels too out there for me to truly pin this character as a warlock - the block primary colours in the design, alongside the sharp angular mask especially, gives me the impression this design was ripped straight out of a comic book, he looks like a supervillain, every triangle on his design works to this image, he’s built into an eccentric appearing character rather than a man who carries an omen. All of this combines with his companion, a hellhound, who looks all the more out of place here. 

Maybe my favourite aspect of this episode (besides Jimmy Pelton) is the unmasking of the Hellhound that reveals a dog. Just a dog. This dog wasn’t seen prior to this unmasking, he’s not seen following the unmasking, but I hope he didn’t get a jail sentence. 

16. The Beast is Awake in Bottomless Lake

I always hate when I don’t love a fan favourite episode. 

The Scooby Doo Show ends with the gang heading to Canada, although not to meet a friend, instead they intend on fishing, only to find the village deserted as a result of the Beast. 

This episode breaks my prior claim that the series was immaculate at cold opens, this one simply places the monster in a frame, he growls, and then we’re with the gang. 

Undoubtedly the best element of this episode, and likely why it grew so iconic, comes down to the villain. The Beast is an iconic design, its body is somewhat top heavy, its illuminated yellow eyes and gaping mouth rest atop the bulging head of the beast, which slowly thins out into a tail. Perfectly this design demonstrates the power of a controlled colour palette - simple swampy greens and yellows blend into this creature to build a great design. 

I would wager this design is inspired by Gillman from The Creature from the Black Lagoon, with similar greens across both their bodies and the gills, fins, webbed hands, lips and posture appearing to be drawn from the Universal Monster’s design. I love Gillman a lot, I recently purchased a Care Bear variant of the character, so these parallels make me incredibly happy. 

However, beyond that, there isn’t much more I have to say, the diving suits make a return and I appreciate the setting of this episode - small towns are always a lot of fun - but otherwise this round out not only my thoughts on this episode, but the season and iteration of the franchise as a whole.
